Rickbotics and Mortchanical Mayhem!

Join us in person again for the annual 2.007 Robot Competition. This year the theme, “Rickbotics and Mortchanical Mayhem,” is inspired the hit TV show “Rick and Morty.” The center of the game board features Rick’s ship which students can interact with for points. In front are vats of acid where the students can collect balls to place in their clone tubes. Additional game pieces pay homage to iconic episodes including mind blowers, gooble boxes, and Pickle Rick! To reach Pickle Rick, students must travel up the elevator to release him down the zip-line. The upper level of the game board also has portals that students can deactivate for points. The robots will compete to accomplish these tasks and earn the highest score.

The competition will run Monday 05/13/24 from 5:00pm to 10pm and Tuesday 05/14/23 from 6:30pm to 10pm at the Johnson Ice Rink. Each student will showcase their robot in a single match on Monday, and Tuesday will feature a single-elimination bracket of the top 32 competitors.
